File this under good news: Jessica and Daniel Burdge re-opened a dairy store in Union Market on Wednesday, devoted to carrying grassfed dairy products, locally made products and even the last of the Trickling Springs ice cream stash. The Burdges told me that a maker in Pennsylvania bought the ice cream recipes from the now completely defunct Trickling Springs, so their new product will be as good.

The Creamery will be featuring grassfed milk, cream and butter from Deliteful Dairy from Williamsport, MD. Farmer Brooks Long was on hand making a delivery of his Jersey cow milk, bottled on site. A seventh-generation dairy farmer, Long rotationally grazes his herd of over 60 dairy cattle on Long Delight Farm. He also will be delivering flavored milks.

The Burdges also have Pequa Valley Yogurt and an assortment of Brooklyn-made ice creams, including vegan.

The Creamery at Union Market. Open daily 11-8, Saturday 10-9. Closed Sunday.
