Our newest neighborhood dining guide covers two neighborhoods we adore - Mt. Pleasant and Adams Morgan. Long before the LINE Hotel, we were strolling Adams Morgan bars and getting our bike tuned up at the Mt. Pleasant farmers market.
In partnership with Lyft, EdibleDC has created a series of dining guides. Be sure to use code “MTADMO” for 20% off your next Lyft ride to or from the Mt. Pleasant or Adams Morgan area. (Good while supplies last!)
EdibleDC’s Mt. Pleasant and Adams Morgan Picks
Adams Morgan
Tail Up Goat: A Michelin starred restaurant serving up a fusion-style menu of Mediterranean and Caribbean cuisines.
The LINE Hotel DC: This go-to gathering spot has it all. Grab a coffee at A Cup We All Race For, host a business meeting at Brothers & Sisters, go on an electric date at Spoken English or have a family dinner in A Rake's Progress.
Tryst: This all-day coffee house diner is perfect for studying or relaxed meal.
Mintwood Place: Approachable French-American inspired menu from Chef Cedric Maupillier.
Lapis: One of our favorite spots in Adams Morgan is this Afghan restaurant. Come for the dumplings and stay for the ambiance.
Mt. Pleasant
Elle: Built in the building that once housed historic Heller's Bakery, have some coffee and pasties in the morning or enjoy an inspired dinner with food at the level that made this place on top of the WaPo dining guide.
Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market: Every Saturday April - December from 9 am to 1 pm, wander this adorable farmers market.
Pear Plum Cafe x Each Peach Market: Side by side, get some work done at Pear Plum Cafe then go next door to grab some groceries for dinner at Each Peach.
Haydee's Restaurant: Haydee's holds a piece of our heart, even though the food may be simple and comfortable. They routinely have live music, encourage dancing and karaoke, giving this place a distinctive Mt. Pleasant quality.
Mount Desert Island Ice Cream: A recent addition to Mt. Pleasant street, this is the first iteration of this famous Maine ice cream.
Raven Grill: Consistently ranked one of the top dive bars in all of DC, the Raven is worth a stop whether with friends or on a fifth date.
Mola: We love this Spanish tapas restaurant for brunch where it feels like your dining inside a gorgeous Mt. Pleasant row home.
