Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken will again offer their popular Hanukkah doughnuts this year. Available for pick-up and delivery November 27 through December 15, via pre-order only, the Hanukkah doughnut box comes with 12 mini doughnuts adorned with festive decorations. Priced at $29, the doughnuts include:
4 Jelly Doughnuts
2 Creme Brulée Doughnuts
3 Hanukkah Cookie Doughnuts
3 Vanilla Doughnuts with Sprinkles
These special edition doughnuts will be available at all three Astro locations in Downton DC, Shaw and Falls Church and can be pre-ordered online here.

Bib Gourmand rated Sababa, a modern Israeli restaurant, will celebrate Hanukkah with a special four-course, prix fixe Hanukkah feast priced at $85 per couple from November 28 through December 6, 2021.
Prepared by Executive Chef Ryan Moore, the menu will begin with a Salatim Plate consisting of Golden Tahina with honey harissa; Roasted Garlic Labneh and Hummus served with pita and za’atar followed by a choice of Classic Potato Latkes, served with a choice of two toppings: Hawaij-spiced apples or honey marmalade, or Fried Smoked White Fish with chickpea & za’atar fries and garlic malt vinegar labneh. For the next course, guests can enjoy Lamb Tagine with couscous, tomato, chickpea, carrot and cippolini onion. To complete the meal on a sweet note, Sababa will serve up Tahina Sufganiyot, two jelly donuts with a spiced mixed berry jam or the Hanukkah Gelt Tart, two date tahini caramel tarts coated with gold luster.
The Cleveland Park restaurant is nearby the National Zoo at 3311 Connecticut Ave NW, and has valet parking for $10. To make reservations go here.
