The award-winning restaurant sources the finest and freshest ingredients from the gardens at Goodstone and other nearby farms. Executive Chef Eric Smith and his culinary team, including Chef De Cuisine Thomas Layman, excel at creating seasonally inspired cuisine. Wine Director and Sommelier, Mr. Stephen Elhafdi, winner of the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence, maintains a wine list of over 500 selections, many of which have been specifically chosen for the current season and dinner menu. Winter offerings include crisp pork belly sourced from Reservoir Hogs Farm in Goochland, VA which we paired with a snappy dry riesling, followed by roasted pheasant breast with port cranberry jus sourced from Beaver Creek Farm, King George County, VA, paired with an earthy pinot noir. Finish the meal with a Pavlova laced with pomegranate, rosemary and a cranberry anglaise prepared with the eggs that are gathered daily from the Farm at Goodstone.
