Celebrate the 4th of July with Specials, Brunches, Viewing Spots and Stays

The 4th of July holiday is coming in hot with all the red, white and blue ways to celebrate our nation’s birthday. We’ve got a roundup of offerings to help you make the weekend special.
SPECIALS
DC’s woman-owned favorite ice cream maker introduces a new sundae, the “Red, White, and Blueberry.” This three-scoop sundae features a scoop of Strawberry Hibiscus sorbet, Bold Vanilla ice cream, and the ice cream maker’s famous Blueberry Pie ice cream with star-shaped sprinkles and sundae toppings. This specialty sundae will be available starting Friday, July 1, 2022 through July 10, 2022, but will also be available “off-menu” for early July 4th celebrants, starting June 28, 2022 at all Ice Cream Jubilee locations at the Navy Yard, Ballston Quarter and Logan Circle/U Street. Blueberry Pie – A super juicy, purple blueberry ice cream features chunks of freshly baked, butter pie crust – just like a homemade summer berry pie.
Lemon Muffintop - Lemon and poppyseed ice cream inspired by the crunchy top of a lemon poppyseed muffin with a sprinkle of demerara sugar.
Strawberry Hibiscus (vegan sorbet) - Berry red sorbet that tastes intensely of strawberries with a hint of hibiscus for a floral twist.
Whiskey Toasted Marshmallow - Smokey flavored marshmallow cream lightly spiked with Canadian whiskey tastes like a grown-up s'mores.
Buttered Toast & Marmalade - Inspired by English high tea and marmalade-loving Paddington bear, eat breakfast ice cream on a cone with Ice Cream Jubilee’s new flavor.
Seylou Bakery
Famous whole grain bakery, Seylou, is doing a special run of unique organic, whole grain, sourdough buns for your 4th of July celebrations. They have a rich whole wheat buttery flavor and a soft pillow like texture. Great as a classic hamburger bun. Or consider using for your chicken, crab cake or other sandwiches. Pre-order here. YELLOWBird Collab on July 3
YELLOW x Daybird L.A. will host a special brunch/lunch on July 3 at 11 am when Top Chef winner Mei Lin is returns to YELLOW. The L.A.-based chef and owner of popular sandwich shop Daybird will collab with Chef Michael Rafidi once again on a Szechuan Hot Chicken Sando, available starting at 11 am till sold out. Lebanese Taverna
Lebanese Taverna is bringing back their beach box packages to take the hassle out of feeding the beach week crowd. Out of their Market location, the Lebanese Taverna crew works with guests to build a menu for beach week, prepping lunches, dinners, snacks and drinks for parties of four to 40. Guests can even bring their coolers right to the restaurant to have it packed and ready to hit the road. Guests can contact Lebanese Taverna here to start building the perfect vacation menu.
Sticky Fingers Bakery
Sticky Fingers' newest star cake pops are the perfect addition to any Independence Day celebration. The 100% vegan pops come in red, white and blue and can be picked up at their Park Road or H Street locations, as well as ordered for delivery nationwide here.

L’Ardente
It’s L’Ardente’s first Fourth of July, and the Italian restaurant in downtown D.C.’s new Capitol Crossing development will two ways to celebrate! First choice: An exclusive dining experience by Chef David Deshaies and team. Think a luxurious three-course dinner with chilled lobster and cantaloupe salad, stuffed soft-shell crab with summer corn, and poached halibut with ravioli. Each course will be accompanied by wine pairings.
Following dinner, guests will be escorted to Capitol Crossing’s rooftop conservatory for a fireworks viewing party complete with wines, bubbles and a Chandon Garden Spritz cart, plus nine different types of dessert bites from L’Ardente’s pastry chef Manabu Inoue. The glass-enclosed and air-conditioned space offers unobstructed views of the Capitol and fireworks from 13 stories above the city. A lounge on the open-air terrace offers additional views of the city skyline, weather permitting.
For those who already have their dinner plans covered, there’s an option to purchase tickets for the viewing party only. These tickets would also include wines, bubbles and dessert.
Tickets cost $200 for the dinner, drinks and rooftop viewing party, not including tax and service charges. For those who just want to attend the viewing party, tickets can be purchased for $90, not including tax and service charges. Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the viewing party kicks off at 8:30, with everything wrapping up at 10:30 p.m.

Tiki TNT
Perfect rooftop views of DC’s Wharf, the Potomac, and the National Fireworks Show await you at Tiki TNT. The Fourth of July Viewing Party starts at 7:00PM on Monday, July 4, 2021. Each Tiki Ticket [$125 per person for Rooftop Table Seating or $100 per person for Main Deck Outdoor Seating] includes a welcome cocktail and the choice of a Burger, Footlong Chili Dog, BBQ Pork Sandwich, or Eggplant Burger. Officina at The Wharf
On the Wharf you’ll have another perfect viewing spot at Officina for the Fourth of July Fireworks. Join Officina team on the rooftop for one of the most stunning views of the fireworks that DC has to offer. Reservation includes a personal firepit for you and 5 of your friends. The Top of the Gate at the Watergate Hotel
Feeling like a very special celebration? Fourth of July celebrations are back at the Watergate Hotel, known for some of the best views of the city, Top of the Gate, The Watergate's rooftop bar and lounge has 360-degree views of the Washington Monument, Potomac River, Key and Arlington bridges, Kennedy Center and the DC skyline. The rooftop bar will be hosting a Fireworks Party on the roof, complete with a live marching band to play the national anthem alongside the fireworks. Tickets include: entrance to The Top of the Gate, reserved seating, signature gourmet passed bites, bottle service and more.

Bloomingdale’s favorite bar is having brunch on July 4th. Cue the fireworks, they will be open for brunch on Monday, July 4 from 11AM-3PM. Celebrate the holiday with some of Chef David's finest brunch items, such as:

All-Purpose Riverfront is open on Monday, July 4 for brunch – with bottomless cocktails! Better yet, their Capitol Riverfront location will open an hour early on Monday to accommodate the Nats vs. Marlins first pitch.
