Nearby Destinations

Hamilton Hotel

Washington, DC

Hamilton Hotel is an iconic property in downtown Washington DC offering two cyber promotions in celebration of their upcoming 100th Anniversary next year. Those that book on Black Friday or Cyber Monday will be able to enjoy perks that play off of the hotel’s founding year, 1922, and their 100 years as a hotel in DC. Book a stay on Black Friday and get a stay for any night between January to March, and/or weekends from April to December for $100 a night. Plus, get entered into a raffle to receive a $100 credit to use while on property. Meanwhile, if you book a stay on Cyber Monday, you’ll receive 19.22 percent off rates, and a $19.22 credit to use at the onsite restaurant, Via Sophia.

Keswick Hall

Charlottesville, Virginia

With a heated outdoor pool and spa, five-star dining from Jean-Georges Restaurants and a country setting near Charlottesville, Keswick Hall is an updated property ready for your next luxury escape. Book through Skylark and you can save hundreds with introductory room rate offers in December and January.

While you’re there, be sure to book a reservation at Marigold, the signature restaurant helmed by acclaimed Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, with expansive views of the Virginia Mountains and a menu of organic and sustainable ingredients sourced not only from local family-owned farms and suppliers, but also from nearby Oakdale Farm, run by the hotel which produces many of the vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, and edible flowers that are featured on the menu.

Guest rooms are also furnished for gourmands. For instance, the Hardie Presidential Suite provides guests with a kitchenette with Viking appliances, a wet bar, and a private balcony with sprawling mountain views.

The Wildset

St. Michaels, Maryland

Keep an eye on St. Michaels properties like Wildset and the Inn at Perry Cabin on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The Wildset, which is a brand new boutique property, has a partnership with Expedia which is offering 30 percent off stays on Black Friday only. The property opened this summer and channels the rugged beauty of the Chesapeake Bay region. It’s also a popular place in town to dine-in. Ruse is run by Executive Chef Michael Correll, who has an impressive resume including stints at Fleet Street Kitchen, Tagliata, and The Elk Room in Baltimore.

And while the room rates are still unannounced, The Inn at Perry Cabin will also be holding a “sail into holiday savings” event from November 26 to December 5. That’s in addition to some already great deals on fall travel, which include resort credit to use at any of the on-site restaurants, including some private dining experiences situated by the water.

Blue Rock in Washington, VA. Photo by @thejenchase

Blue Rock

Washington, Virginia

This inn, restaurant and tasting room recently reopened in October after an extensive renovation. The newly renovated space boasts beautiful rooms, a formal dining room and other common spaces including a library and living room. Rooms are also well-appointed, and each room features Molton Brown bath amenities, Parachute linen bedding, signature robes and a Nespresso machine with espresso pods. To enhance your stay, the inn offers breakfast in bed from a carefully curated menu. It’s a great option for an escape this winter, but you’ll need to hurry — only a few days remain at introductory rates starting from $249 per night.

On property, you’ll find Bin Lu, formerly of Pineapple & Pearls, and the new Blue Rock team’s offerings, which are an exciting addition to the food and restaurant community in Rappahannock County. The Restaurant at Blue Rock features a very delicious and reasonable four-course $99 menu, while The Tasting Room at Blue Rock is a destination for wine, beer and spirits tastings, with a separate “Foothills” food menu, all of which can be enjoyed either at the bar or outdoors in lounging pods, on the terrace or around fire pits with gorgeous views of the Shenandoah Mountains.
