Join us for a day of community, connection, and hands-on learning at Fox Haven’s Open House! This free, family-friendly event invites you to explore the land, swap goods, and engage in fun activities for all ages.

12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
🌱 Seed Swap, Clothing Swap & Book Swap – Bring seeds, gently used clothes, or books to exchange and take home something new! (approx. 10 item limit per person)
❤️ Local Vendors Market – Featuring handcrafted goods from Fox Haven interns and volunteers including Dandy Apothecary, Avery’s Green Acres & Sanders Honey Hole
🌳 Kid’s Nature Activity – A fun, interactive experience to inspire young nature lovers.

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
🌸 Herb Farm Tour – Wander through our lush gardens and learn about the herbal plants we grow.

1:30 PM – 2:15 PM
🥣 Nettle Pesto Making – Get hands-on in the kitchen and learn how to make this nutrient-packed, foraged delight.

🐦 Bird Walk – Join a guided walk to observe local birds, learn about their habitats, and practice mindful listening in nature.

2:15 PM – 3:00 PM
🐝 Hive Tour & Honey Tasting – Meet the bees and enjoy a sample of locally-harvested honey.
🧺Picnic & Community Gathering – Pack a picnic or enjoy shared snacks as we relax and connect with the community.
