Chefs for Equality returns with one of DC’s most anticipated celebrations of food, drink and community—uniting the region’s top chefs, pastry chefs and mixologists for a vibrant evening that fuels the fight for full LGBTQ+ equality.
This year’s theme, Everything Everywhere All at Once, brings together the DMV’s culinary talent in a series of events that capture the spirit of collaboration and creativity. The festivities begin with five chef-driven dinners across DC, each blending artistry, advocacy and a dash of surprise. Expect dazzling cocktail receptions, multi-course menus paired with standout wines, and the kind of kitchen magic that happens only when great minds cook with purpose.
Participating spots like Acqua Bistecca, Moon Rabbit, The Duck and the Peach, CUT by Wolfgang Puck and Perry’s Restaurant will each offer their own take on the evening. At Perry’s, “Drag Brunch for Dinner” reimagines the beloved weekend ritual with a lavish buffet from James Beard Award-winning chef Masako Morishita and performances from some of DC’s most dazzling drag superstars.
Throughout the week, restaurants and bars across the region will keep the energy alive with Chefs for Equality specials, donating a portion of proceeds to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Expect auction moments, signature goody bags, florals by Amaryllis Design House and plenty of surprises along the way.
