Greater Washington Regional Food & Ag Supply Chains Movement Summit

  • 660 North Capitol Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

A summit to identify next steps from several landmark regional studies on food and agriculture in Greater Washington, D.C. and beyond.

This day-long, interactive summit will bring together technical assistance providers, policymakers, government staff, advocates, business, and funders from Greater Washington to consider new information about the region’s food system.

A principal objective is to consider the findings of several recent and forthcoming studies; identifying areas for “next step gains” and the stakeholders who can advance these.

Other key objectives include:

• Information-sharing

• Provide new framing and thinking about equity in regional food system development

• Finding synergies and opportunities for collaboration to move featured studies’ recommendations to implementation

• Networking with old and new connections
