A Beyoncé and Jay-Z-themed bottomless brunch on July 28 guaranteed to get guests “Drunk in Love” while the power couple come to Washington D.C. for their tour
Commissary hosts a bottomless Beyoncé & Jay-Z-themed brunch on Saturday, July 28 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. ahead of the second night of the couple’s Washington D.C. stop on their On The Run II tour.
Known for its bottomless Mondays, offering unlimited mimosas and bloody marys for $18, Commissary is making an exception for this irreplaceable Saturday. Their discography as solo artists, group members, and most recently as the duo “The Carters” will be the soundtrack and their many legendary music videos and live performances will play on Commissary’s full wall projector throughout the entirety of brunch. Washington’s own drag Beyoncé, KC Beyoncé. will host the event as well as perform live.
The menu, created specifically by Chef Madison Han with the Beyhive in mind, features local honey. Milk & Honey Pancakes, Honey Roasted Rhubarb Salad, and Honey BBQ Chicken are just a few items that are available along with $18 bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, or spiked lemonade.
Heidi Minora, RAMMY-award winning General Manager at Commissary says, “We’ve been so amazed at how our diva brunch series took off. They’re a ton of work, but we know any good diva knows the value of workin’ it.”
Commissary is located at 1443 P Street NW. Brunch & Bows takes place Saturday, July 28 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Reservations can be made on opentable.com. VIP tables for 6-12 people are available and include spiked lemonade bar, photo props, and front row projector seating.
