Blue Jeans Ball with Capital Area Food Bank

  • 901 Massachussets Ave NW Washington, D.C. (map)

The Blue Jeans Ball is the Capital Area Food Bank’s largest annual fundraiser, featuring savory and sweet tasting stations, craft cocktails, live and silent auctions, and terrific live music. The Ball is consistently ranked one of the area’s premier charity events by BizBash, the Washingtonian, and others. This year’s event will take place in downtown DC at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.

What makes this the best ball in town? In addition to being an amazing party, all proceeds go to helping families in need get the food they need to thrive.  Now in our 15th year, our goal in 2018 is to raise $500,000 to provide 1.25 million meals to our region’s mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, and grandparents.

Thanks to all of our wonderful supporters, this event is currently SOLD OUT! But there’s still more work to be done. In the Washington area, 700,000 residents are at risk of hunger: that’s 16% of the region. You can still donate to the food bank in support of Blue Jeans Ball to help us provide over 1 million meals to those in need. Will you join us?
